Cambodia/Vietnam
2007
I had the opportunity to visit both Cambodia and Vietnam in September of this
year.
Being my first time ever in Cambodia I was amazed at the opportunities that were available everywhere
we turned to minister to the people of this country. The team and I were able to minister at a girls home,
help with feeding programs, and encourage a local church located in one of the provinces. We were able to impart Gods purpose
and message of victory to the people of this land.
When arriving in Vietnam, I saw Ho Chi Minh and its people in a different light.
It was so much more prosperous than I remembered. The church of Vietnam is strong and moving into
all God has planned. We were able to impart simple but life changing truths into the hearts of women from
the Mekong Delta. This event was 10 years in the heart of a local pastor’s wife. We were also able
to visit and financially support a private orphanage. This home was an only a vision in the heart
of one couple last year but I had the privilege of seeing it come into reality on my trip this year. What
a blessing!
I am so thankful for God called servants who give there life to the work of HIS calling.
I was able to see amazing growth in Vietnam and experience a country on the verge of the fullness of his spirit in
Cambodia. Whether it was plowing, sowing or experiencing breakthrough this mission was God ordained. His
will was done and the fruit will continue to grow and multiply for years to come.
Because
of you, I was able to partake in this precious opportunity. Together we are making a difference.
In Jesus we are more than Champions.
In him,
Beth

Vietnam 2006

Recently I had a wonderful opportunity to go to Vietnam. The Bible says to “Go into
all the world and preach the gospel” I have been content over the past few years to stay at home and preach to my friends,
acquaintances, my children and occasionally my husband. But the Bible does not say to stay in your own
backyard and preach, it says to go into all the world. I have always had a heart for the lost and have
welcomed any opportunity to be an encouragement to the body of Christ. When a friend spontaneously asked me to go with her
to Vietnam my first reaction was well ok, maybe, let me pray. So I did, fully expecting to be barraged
with excuses and reasons not to go. My husband said sounds like God, my boss said sure I don’t see
why not and my Pastor said that sounds like a great idea. So I began to pray and God answered. My needs
were met even down to the last detail and I knew God was up to something great! He always is ya know.
The people of Vietnam were
so precious. They have a hunger for God that we only have when we need him desperately. That
is because everyday they need Him desperately. We saw God move in such a sweet way as He brought about
20 women some from over 3 hours away for a 2 day meeting near Da Nung. We watched Him meet needs and encourage
hearts. Lisa, Susan, and I took turns teaching and training on Faith, Confidence, healing and the baptism
of the Holy Ghost. One testimony in particular touched my heart. There was a young lady
about 21 years of age who had a tremendous call of God on her life. She had been in a motorcycle accident
and suffered some internal injuries.
While
recovering she experienced an overwhelming attack from the enemy. He tried to instill fear in her to keep
her bound to her home. (The enemy cannot steal your eternal salvation but he can steal your confidence
in God if you let him. This will cause you to stop proclaiming His wonderful works and His awesome power). After
a period of time, this young lady decided that it was not worth missing what God had for her. She was going
on with God regardless of what it cost her. That step of faith caused her to break through to a new level.
The Glory of God was all over her as she worshiped and shared of His wonderful love for her. What
a testimony of Gods faithfulness and power over the enemy.
While in the country we visited several in churches in and around Ho Chi
Minh City. We were able to give financially and sow seeds of Gods word everywhere the Lord led us. How
Blessed we are to come and go as He calls us knowing that He will meet every need that we have.
On a visit to a school about 2 hours outside of the city,
God etched a picture of His love in my mind. There was a young girl there; I don’t even know her
name. We were told that her parents had divorced and both remarried other people. In the process of this
separation neither parent wanted her. At night she slept at
her Grandmas and during the day she went to school and stayed with the pastor and his family. She
was so precious. I cannot imagine the rejection she must have felt. God has a place
for us even in the midst of division. He will hold you, nurture you and prepare a place for you.
You are the apple of His eye. His pearl of great price! That is what I saw on this child’s
face. She was not sad, or lonely she was provided for. Now that is our Heavenly father.
Please continue to pray for the Nation of Vietnam, its
government and its people. With your prayers along with laborers being sent, His purpose will prevail.
Thank you for sending me “into
all the world”.
Beth
