There are several widows that Champion Ministries support on a monthly basis. One in particular sends us a thank you card every month letting us know what a blessing it is to receive our check and how she is praying for us. She lost her husband of over 40 years to a brain tumor last year. Still living in their house by herself has been a difficult financial situation for her.

Our monthly checks to orphans and those building orphanages has helped make a difference in the lives of many children. The smiles on their faces are not only an encouragement but a testimony of God's love to reach everyone.

The thought of leaving behind your spouse or children alone to face one of these situations is not only disturbing but horrifying. Unfortunately, for many this is reality. In James 1:27 we are instructed to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep ourselves unspotted from the world. The Word tells us that this is pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father.
